FOTD #1 - Taylor Swift inspired Cat eye

This is a look a Cat eye look I created today. It's the first time I try to copy a celebrity look. This one is inspired by Taylor Swift. I found one picture of her wearing very similar makeup. This is really out of my confort zone because I tend to usually stay away from dark black eyeliner and car eyes. On my face, I just have bronzer, Nars orgasm blush on the apples of my cheeks and as an highlight, I used an eyeshadow from Sephora in Aspen Summit #23 with a very light hand. On my lips, I have Covergirl Nature luxe balm/gloss in Hibiscus. If you want a list of all the products I used, you can comment in the comment bar.

Rimmel blush in Santa Rose - Review

This is a blush I got from Rimmel in my most recent haul at Jean Coutu. It's in the color called Santa Rose. Rimmel's blushes don't come in many colors. But when I saw this color, I instantly fell in love with it. I've heard things about it on luuux and I see why, because it's really pretty.

The color is very natural and it turns just the most pretty natural peach color on your cheeks. It looks really pale in the pan but it really shows up on your skin. I really like the flush of color it gives to my cheeks.

The only thing you need to watch out for is that it's really powdery. So powder can fly everywhere. But, I like the color so much that it doesn't bother me.

I really recommend this blush because the color is really pretty and I honestly don't have anything similar in my makeup collection.

Rimmel Volume Booster plumping lipgloss in Attract - Review

This is a review on Rimmel's Volume Booster plumping lipgloss. I got this for free the other day at Jean Coutu during a sale. When I arrived at the cash, the cosmetician told me that I got an item free because I spent more than 15$ in makeup. I didn't really look the brand, I just picked this lipgloss because the color caught my attention and I really liked the color. Mine is in the color Attract.

This is a plumping lipgloss. It's the first plumping lipgloss that I use. I know that there's a tingly feeling with each plumping lipgloss. This one has it but it's not too bad. I kind of like the feeling. It's almost like when you put these chapsticks that makes your lips feel tingly. For the plumping, it plumps my lips but it's nothing that noticeable. Don't expect miracles. It's not a lip surgeon!

This lipgloss is super long wearing. I putted it on my lips yesterday and it lasted a really long time. I went out and drank some water and after a couple of hours, it still looked almost the same as when I applied it.

The color is really pretty. It's kind of a sheer color that lets the natural color of your lips show through. I kind of makes me think of Sephora Collection lipgloss in apricot except it's a little bit more pink while Sephora's one is more peach.

I don't know if they sell this anymore because I got it for free. But if you can get your hand on this lipgloss, I really recommend it.

Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss in Coral Reef - Review

I already did a review more in depth of the Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss in the shade Pink Pop. The finish is the same and it's the same formulation. This is just a review on the color.

I really like this color. It's a corally-orange color. It's my first coral ligloss and it's going to be very trendy for this summer as orangy-corally lips are really popular for this summer.

I really recommend this shade. It's really pigmented like all Revlon's lipglosses and it's a very pretty shade.

Hope you like it!

Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss in Pink Pop - Review

This is Revlon's Super Lustrous lipgloss in Pink Pop. I currently have 3 of these lipglosses and I really like them. So this is my review for the shade pink pop.

This color is a super bright pink color in the tube. On your lips, you can still see the bright pink but it's not as vibrant obviously because it's not a lipstick, it's a lipgloss.

I really like that it's a cream finish. It's very similar to Mac's cremesheen lipglosses that I love. This ligloss is sticky enough so it can last a long time but not too sticky.

It lasts a long time. I didn't have time to test this one but I know that my Peach petal one have a tendency to regroup in the outer corners of my lips.

Overall, I really recommend this color because I think it's absolutely gorgeous. Also, I got it at Jean Coutu for 3.99$ CAN instead of 8.99$ CAN so if you have a Jean Coutu near you, they're on sale this week and it's a really good deal. But, even if you can't have it at this price, I still recommend it because it's a really good drugstore ligloss and it's hard to find drugstore lipglosses without shimmers or glitters in it.

L'Oréal Hip duo in Wicked - Review

As promised, this is the first review following my drugstore haul. This is about L'Oréal Hip duo in Wicked. First, I must say that this is the second Hip duo I buy and I'm definitely looking to purchase more of these because the colors are really pretty and they are definitely my favorite drugstore eyeshadows. Usually, they are pretty expensive for drugstore eyeshadow but I got it on sale for 5.99$ instead of 10.79$. It's a deal even for me that has the employee discount where I work.
Reviews:
- Gold shade: It's a really pretty golden shade. I really like the texture of this eyeshadow. I've heard it's good dupe for woodwink eyeshadow. I don't have woodwink but from what I've seen in pictures, it looks very similar in texture and in color. That shade is a shimmery shade and it's super pigmented. It's my favorite shade in this duo. It's so easy to work with and you can use it for many different uses.
- Purple shade: It's a darker matte purple shade. It's also supposed to be a dupe for Mac shadowy lady eyeshadow. The swatche doesn't look that pigmented but when you put in on your eyes, it comes out really pigmented. When I first used it, I didn't expected it to be super pigmented but I almost ruined my look because it was really pigmented and I didn't use it with a light hand.
Overall, I really like this duo. I really like the eyeshadows and the shades. I will definitely buy more of these eyeshadow duos as the colors are really pretty and they are really good quality. This is pretty much the only eyeshadow I use and it's I usually really prefer high end eyeshadow but theses eyeshadows are good stuff!
Hope you liked it!

Ok so I was at Jean Coutu today and there was some crazy sales on makeup items. This is what I got. Separate reviews are going to be posted later.
- Revlon lipgloss in coral reef. Usually, this lipgloss is 8.99$ but I got it for 3.99$. What a deal! I really like the color and it's really pigmented.
-Revlon lipgloss in pink pop. I got it for the same price than coral reef.
- Rimmel blush in Santa rose. I got this at the regular price. I do not remember the price.
- Rimmel plumping lipgloss in attract. I really like the color. I got this for free because it was a promotion. You bought for 15$ and you got to choose one item for free.
- L'Oréal Hip eyeshadow duo in Wicked. These are my favorite drugstore eyeshadows. I really like the pigmentation. It's usually 10.79$ but I got it for 5.99$.
Ok so that was my little haul. I really like the items I got and I really want to buy some other shades of different items I got.

EOTD #12 - Sunset on the ocean

This is a look I created using my BH cosmetics 88 Tropical Shimmers palette. The colors kind of make me think of a sunset on the ocean. I'm not used to use a lot of colors so that was pretty much a first.
This is how I did it:
1. I primed my lid with Urban Decay Primer Potion.
2. I applied Sephora Jumbo Pencil in the white shade.
3. I applied a bright yellow color on the inner 1/2 of my lid.
4. I applied a bright orange shadow on the outer 1/2 of my lid and blended both colors together.
5. I applied a medium purple color in my crease and blended it to soften the edges.
6. I applied Urban Decay 24/7 liner in electric on my lower lashline and putted a shadow of the same color on top of it.
7. I lined my waterline with the same pencil.
8. I lined my upper lashline with my L'Oréal liquid eyeliner.
9. I applied a matte highlight under my brows.
10. I applied two coats of mascara and the look was done.
So that was the look and I was totally out of my comfort zone. Hope you liked it!

EOTD #11 - Black, Gray and neutral

This is a look I did this week. I'm not going to go too much in details but theses are the steps:
1. Apply primer.
2. Apply liner on you lashline and smudge... Repeat as many times you need to get a gradient effect from the black to you skin color.
3. Apply a shimmery skin color that's lighter than your skin on your lid.
4. Apply a medium brown in you crease to add definition. Not too dark because it's not the main focus.
5. Apply an highlight color.
6. Line your eyes, add two coats of mascara and the look is done!
Hope you liked it.

EOTD #10 - Pink and brown

This is a looks I created using a bright pink with a toned down brown to soften the look. There are the products I used:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- BH Cosmetics 88 neutral colors
- L'Oréal Hip duo in Brazen
- Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in zero
- L'oréal télescopic waterproof liquid eyeliner
- Revlon Grow Luscious mascara
So that is the final look.
I hope you liked it.

EOTD #9 - Neutral with a pop of purple

This is a look I created for everyday look with a fun pop of color. This is how I created it:
1. I primed my lids with Urban Decay Prime Potion.
2. I applied the first gold shade from Kat Von D True Romance palette on my lid.
3. I applied the 3rd color from the left in my crease. A nice medium brown with gold sparkles.
4. I lined my upper lashline with Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Ransom.
5. Over the liner, I applied using an angled brush the 2nd color from the right of my palette.
6. I applied a matte highlight color.
7. I lined my waterline, added two coats of mascara and the look was done.
So this was a fun look with neutrals and color to do.
I hope you liked it!

L'Oréal Hip duo in Brazen - Review

I bought this eyeshadow duo this weekend after hearing so much good reviews about these. I must say that I it totally surprised me when I swatched it in store. It was so pigmented on the back of my hand even without using a primer. So, that's why I bought it.
Also, I really liked the colors. It came with a pretty bright pink and a nice dark brown.
When I arrived at home and wanted to swatch it. It was not as pigmented as it was in store. But as I used it, when I got past the first layer of powder, the pigmentation was back. It's funny how some products does that.
I really like the colors and I think it's a really good drugstore eyeshadow. I usually don't wear any drugstore eyeshadow because I've been dissapointed in other brands like Covergirl, Maybelline and Marcelle but this one is totally different.
Ok so this is a really good product if you're looking for a good drugstore eyeshadow. The only thing is to keep in mind that it's still drugstore eyeshadow so don't expect the same as if you would have paid twice the price for an highend brand. But, if you're looking for a product in that range, I totally recommend it.

EOTD #8 - Pink and purple using BH cosmetics

This is a very light pink look that I created with my BH Cosmetics 88 Tropical Shimmers palette. I wanted to do a look using colors but that was not too over the top. The colors don't show up the best on my camera but I used a light pink on my lid, a darker pink in the crease and a slighly darker purple in my outer V.
Hope you liked it:)

EOTD #7 - Quick gold look using Too Faced

This is a Gold and Brown look that I did using Too Faced Natural eye palette.
Steps:
1. I primed my lids with Urban Decay Primer Potion.
2. I applied Honey Pot on my lid.
3. I applied the left bottom corner color (sorry I don't remember the name!) in my crease and outer V.
4. I applied heaven for my highlight on my browbone.
5. I lined my upper lashline. I used a pencil but you can use a liquid or gel eyeliner.
6. I lined my waterline.
7. I added two coats of mascara and the look was done!
Ok so this was just a quick and easy look that I've done that I would wear on a daily basis or on a special occasion with the outer V just darkened a little bit.
Hope you liked it!

EOTD #6 - Purple and gold using Kat Von D

This is a look I created experimenting with my Kat Von D palette. I really like how it turned out. I love the colors in this palette.
To create this look:
1. I primed my lids with Urban Decay Prime Potion.
2. I applied the gold cream shade all over my lid.
3. I applied the lighest gold shade over the cream color.
4. I used the second darkest purple in my crease and blended it higher than I normally would almost using it like a transition color.
5. I used the darker purple to create an outer V and than filled it going a little bit on my lid.
6. I mixed both purples used previouly and applied them on my lower lash line.
7. I applied a matte highlight. I used Too Faced Natural Eye palette's top light shade.
8. I applied Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on pencil in a gold color on my waterline.
9. I lined my eyes added two coats of mascara and the look is done!
Hope you liked it.

Makeup collection - Blushes

This is the next part of my Makeup collections posts. This is my blushes collection. (There's two missing because they are in my trailer) Shown in the pictures:
Top: My four Korres blushes in Peachy Orange, Mauve, Coral and Plum bronze.
Bottom: Nars Orgasm and Mac Mineralized blush in Gentle.
Not in the pictures: Covergirl Cheekers in Natural shimmers and Deep Plum.
So this is my blushes collection. I love all of them except maybe the orange one because it's a lot less pigmented than the others.
Which are your favorite blushes?

Makeup collection - Lipsticks

Okay, so I started collecting makeup progressively and buy a little at the time and I know I don't have the collection YouTube beauty Guru's have but this is what I have and I would like to share it with you Luuuxer's.
- Sephora Collection Lip atitude glamour G10
- Mac lipstick (Glaze) Hue
- Maybelline Color sensational lipstick in Born With It
- Kat Von D Painted love lipstick in Celebutard
- Rimmel lipstick in Airy Fairy
- Lise Watier Lip Duo in vintage modern (Pink and Coral)
- Sephora Collection Lip attitude glamour G17
- Maybelline lipstick in Raspberry Rush
- NYC Retro Red lipstick
I recommend pretty much each of these lipsticks except maybe for the NYC one because it's really cheap. (I only bought it for a costumed 50's birthday party!)
Also, could you share which are your favorite lipsticks?

EOTD #5 - Purple look using Kat Von D

This is a purple look I did using Kat Von D True Love the other day. Sorry if the pictures don't show the colors a lot, my camera has a tendency to wash out colors and I've also been wearing this look for a couple of hours.
Other products I'm wearing:
- Kat Von D primer
- Kat Von D pencil in Black metal love (Black with microglitters)
- Sorry I don't remember which mascara I was wearing that day!
So this was the looks. :) Hope you liked it

Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Born with it - Review

The lipstick is a very nice pink color. I don't own Mac Angel because Mac is very difficult to get where I live but I've heard from a beauty guru that it's a dupe for Mac Angel. I really like the color and how it's looks on my lips. I also like that it's not a difficult color to wear. Pretty much everyone could wear it because it's nothing to bold.
I really like the finish of this lipstick. There's some nice shimmers and I like that. I also like that's it's staying on my lips for a long time.
I really recommend this lipstick because it's really good quality and I must say, it's probably my favorite drugstore lipstick.

Kat Von D High Voltage primer - Review

This is going to be a review on two Kat Von D primers I received in my get the look kit from Sephora.
I received it in two colors: skin which is a natural skin color primer and smoky that is a darker gray color. I only used the skin colored one because it's the most natural one and the one that is the most suited for every day.
I've tried two different primers before and I would rank it in third place. My favorite primer is the Urban Decay primer potion and my second favorite one is the Smashbox photo finish lid primer.
What I like about Kat Von D's primer is that it covers up any veins or redness on your lid so if you want the coverage, this is the best choice for you. For the staying power, they actually creased on me. The only thing that I prefer with the UDPP is that it's so smooth and silky on your skin when you apply it. The Kat Von D primer is smoother than the Smashbox primer but not as much as the UDPP.
Overal it's an excellent value. But, with the creasing, if eyeshadows thend to crease on you, it might not be the best option. But, abonus is that it is 4$ US less expensive than UDPP.
Pictures: Packaging, swatched, and in the third picture, these are the swatches when blended.
