EOTD–Urban Decay Naked2

Hey bloggers,

This is a look I created using Urban Decay’s Naked2 palette. This is more of an evening dramatic look because of the super long winged liner and the thick dark lashline.

Theses are the steps to recreate the look:

1. I applied Urban Decay Primer potion to the lid.

2. I used a dark brown pencil liner to draw the shape of the crease and wing it out.

3. I used Busted to blend the crease color up.

4. After, I used Tease to blend it up even more.

5. I applied foxy as a matte highlight shade under my brow.

6. I then used YDK all over the lid making sure not to go over the crease colors.

7. I applied Blackout to my lower lashline.

8. I lined my top lashline with l’Oréal carbon black liquid eyeliner and my lower waterline with Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Zero.

9. Last step was to apply some mascara. I used Mac Zoom Fast Black lash mascara.

I hope you liked it… Thanks for reading… Have a nice day, or night depending on where you are.

Urban Decay Naked 2–Review and comparison with Naked 1

Hey Bloggers,

Today’s review is on a product that a lot of you heard of and it is Urban Decay Naked 2. I was planning to wait before getting this palette because I already have Naked but I received some money for Christmas and saw one day that it was in stock online at Sephora and I just decided to get it before it solds out.

Ok so the main thing is not about the quality of the eyeshadows. I did a review on Naked 1 already and everyone knows that Urban Decay’s eyeshadow are really soft, pigmented and blend really well. The main thing a lot of peoples want to know is “Should I get Naked 2 even if I already have Naked?”. So, that’s what I’m going to try to answer for you.

First, Naked 2 has a lot of more cooler toned colors. For some that will be a plus and for some it won’t. But, one thing that a lot of people will like about Naked 2 is that it has a matte highlight color, something that Naked doesn’t have. Also, Naked 2 has a matte black color included so it’s perfect to use as an eyeliner but, that’s if you don’t already have a couple of matte blacks like I do.

Naked 1 or Naked 2 ? : I think it really depends on your preferences but both palettes are really worth it. Also, something to check out is that Naked comes with a shader brush and a mini eyeshadow Primer Potion and Naked 2 comes with a shader and crease brush and a mini lip junkie lipgloss.

If I already have Naked do I need Naked 2 ? Honestly, not really, because the colors are really similar but if you have money to  splurge on a special item why not?

So, that was my review comparison. Down below will be the swatch comparison of both palettes. I hope I answered to you questions. If you have any more questions feel free to comment.

Revlon Colorburst Lip butter - Review

Shades: Creamsicle, Strawberry shortcake, Sweet tart, Peach parfait, Pink truffle, Berry smoothie

Hey Bloggers,

I know you’ve all seen many reviews on this product but I received a couple of these Revlon Lip butter for Christmas and I wanted to tell what I think about these after having the chance to test them for a couple of weeks. Ok, so to start, I got 6 different shades and I think I have a nice variety of color to test the lighter and the darker shades.

All of them are really creamy and very moisturizing. I really like how they feel on you lips. It’s really like a mix between a lipbalm and a lipstick.

Creamsicle: This is a really light nude shade. At first I thought maybe it was going to wash me out but it doesn’t because my natural lips are really pigmented so my natural lip color shows up and it’s just the nicest nude color.

Strawberry shortcake: It’s a really nice pale bubble-gum pink. I really like this color and it is probably my favorite one.

Sweet tart: This really shows up as a bright pink at least on my lips. It’s darker than Strawberry shortcake.

Peach parfait: That color is a little bit more sheer compared to the other colors. It’s really close to my natural lip color so it’s pretty much a “my lips but better” lip color. It also has some nice shimmers.

Pink truffle: That’s a nice darker pink color that’s more on the brownish side.

Berry smoothie: It’s a darker berry color. Even if it’s darker I still find it wearable for the daytime if I wear lighter eye makeup. This color also has a little bit of shimmers.

So, overall I really like these Lip butters and I really recommend them to anyone because I really like the finish and I like that you don’t have to use a lipgloss on top of them. I really like to carry them in my purse and I like that it’s a good drugstore product.
