Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Twinkled pink - Review

IMG_4541IMG_4542

Hey Bloggers,

This is a short review on a shade from Revlon named Twinkled pink. It is a really nice pink color and I feel that it is just perfect. Not too dark or too light. The color is really pretty and it’s a really good lipstick. I really like the color selection Revlon has. The only thing is that I always buy the same colors! In my collection, pretty much all my lipsticks are that kind of pink shade. I think I need to learn how to get something different next time! But, if you’re looking for that kind of pink color, it is a really good choice and I would recommend it.

Revlon Super lustrous lipstick in–Silver City Pink - Review

Hey Bloggers,

This is a review on Revlon’s lipstick. I got this lipstick about a week ago. I got it because I really wanted to try Revlon’s lipsticks and they were on sale for 3.99$ at the drugstore(they are 8.99$ usually). So, I thought this was my chance to try theses lipsticks for a very good price.

First, this lipstick has a pearl finish. The color is a light frosty pink. It is a little bit lighter than my natural lip color but I find these kind of pale pink colors suit my skin tone perfectly.

The formulation is really nice. It feels nice on your lips, doesn’t overly sink into the fine lines of your lips and wears nicely.

I think Revlon’s lipsticks are really good. I kind of regret not buying more even if I know I don’t need any more lipsticks because I already have too much! But, I would still really like to try any finish of Revlon’s lipsticks because both colors I got are pearl and I would like to try their matte lipsticks as well. Do I recommend Revlon’s lipsticks? Yes. They have good lipsticks and I think the variety of shades is just amazing so anyone can find their perfect shades.

EOTD–Green eye tutorial

IMG_4461IMG_4480IMG_4460

Hey Bloggers,

Sorry if I wasn’t able to blog a lot during the past weeks. It’s because school started again and I have a lot less time to blog and as you all know, the first days or weeks at school can be crazy! But, I’m back now an I hope I will be able to post more regularly.

This is just a green eye look I did using some products I have in my makeup collection that I don’t use often. There’s the list of products used:

- Shimmery light green eyeshadow from BH Cosmetics 88 Tropical Shimmers palette.

- Darker matte green eyeshadow from BH Cosmetics 88 Neutral palette

- Any matte skin tone color to use as your highlight.

- Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Mildew.

- Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Zero.

- Covergirl lashblast mascara.

Hope you liked it…

Thanks, Bye xox

Review–OPI shatter nail polish

Hey bloggers,

This is a review on OPI’s shatter nail polish. In Canada, where I live, OPI is hard to find and it’s really expensive. Usually, it retails for 12$ a bottle which I find kind of expensive especially when I don’t wear nail polish often because I always have my nails done with gel. But, during my trip to the US, I found it at Ulta for about 8$ I think and I thought that’s my chance to try at an affordable price.

I was really curious to see how this nail polish was going to work. Basically, you apply one coat and it will shatter and it’s as easy as applying any other nail polishes. The only thing I have to say about this is that it has a kind of thicker consistency than a regular nail polish but it’s still easy to apply.

The shatter really works well. Imagine the silver on the top of the bottle was the black. That’s the effect you get from this nail polish. The only think I need to mention about this nail polish is that you have to use a top coat on top of it otherwise it will chip easily.

I really like this shatter nail polish and I really recommend it to anyone. I’ve come to really like how it looks and I’m definitely looking forward to buy more colors of shatter nail polish even if I will probably only use it on my toes.

EOTD–Bright pink and purple look.

Hey bloggers,

This is a look I created pretty much using a bunch of random products and that’s the look that I got, I hope you enjoy this look. (Ps. I primed my eyes before and added Nyx Milk jumbo eyeshadow pencil)

1. I putted the pink color from my L’Oréal HIP duo in Brazen on the inner third of my eyes.

2. I putted Mac’s Purple Shower on the middle third of my lid.

3. On the outer third, I applied the purple color of my L’Oréal Hip duo in Wicked.

4. In my crease, I didn’t have the color I really wanted so I mixed a shimmery blue eyeshadow, a light bright purple eyeshadow and a darker purple eyeshadow from my BH Cosmetics 88 Tropical shimmers palette.

5. I blended out the crease color using a matte eyeshadow that’s slightly darker than my skintone. I used one from my Too Faced Natural eye palette. (You could use on of the shade from the Naked palette or any other similar shade that works for you)

6. I did the same transition as on my lid on my lower lashline.

7. I applied a matte highlight shade a little bit lighter than my skintone from the same palette that I just used

8. I lined my upper lashline with my Physician’s Formula pen liner. I did nothing fancy. Just a line and a little flick at the end.

9. I lined my lower waterline with Kat Von D’s autograph pencil in Black metal love.

10. I applied two coats of my Cover Girl lash blast mascara and that finished the look.
